ASCOT Radar Simulator® and PLEXComm® support AEW&C Programs at Boeing Mission Analysis Center (MAC), Kent, WA. USA

The Advance Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT) Radar Simulator® and PLEXComm® have been implemented in the Boeing MAC to support AEW&C mission crew training. As the Environment Generator, ASCOT creates virtual forces with data link interoperability, sensor emulation, and with PLEXComm® Virtual Radio, radio communications to provide robust training events.  All aspects of AEW&C operations are supported by ASCOT including radar, IFF, and data link operations. Scenarios are created via Scenario Creation Tool to support specific training objectives tailored to the MAC user.

PLEXComm® Virtual Radio provides internal and external communications from the MAC consoles via a “Touch-to-Talk” (T3) touch screen console mount configuration.
