Contract modifications were made by Aeronautical Systems Center to the AWACS MTC contract for First Federation Testing of High Level Architecture (HLA), a step forward in Distributed Mission Operations.  A separate delivery order was made by Aeronautical Systems Center for development of Scenario Creation Tools (SCT) with advanced capabilities beyond the existing scenario editor that is part of the MTC.  These two contract modifications exceeded $1,000,000 in value.

September 2003

PLEXSYS received a contract in Sep 03 from Lockheed-Martin to develop enhanced Data Recording capabilities for the AWACS Mission Simulator installed at Kirtland AFB, NM.

PLEXSYS began services with its AWACS Mission Training Center at Elmendorf AFB, AK.  This is the first of two MTC's to be supplied to PACAF; a second one will be installed at Kadena AB, Japan in the future.

Advanced Simulation Interface Buffer (ASIB) equipment was upgraded at Tinker AFB, OK.

March 2003

PLEXSYS received a contract in March from Lockheed Martin to provide simulation support to their Joint Strike Fighter project at Fort Worth, TX.

PLEXSYS again became involved in the support of Joint Systems Training Exercises for U.S. Army FORSCOM, being engaged to provide personnel and simulation equipment support for exercise Roving Sands 03, which was completed on 21 Jun 03
