PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc.® has demonstrated two laptop versions of their unclassified NATO releasable AWACS Mission Simulators (AMS), as well as two Airspace Control and Operations Trainers (ASCOT) which provide the stimuli for the battlespace environment. Capabilities demonstrated include Data-Link Emulation, DIS Voice Communications, Scenario Creation tools, and real-time Exercise Generation and Conduct capabilities within a battlespace.
Special Launches:
PRE-SCRIPTED DATA-LINK MESSAGING
PLEXSYS announces the launch of a new feature within their SCT (Scenario Creation Tool). The SCT now allows users to pre-define Command and Control (C2) and Non-C2 Joint Unit (JU) Link capabilities, as well as pre-scripted link messages amongst players within a scenario, and significantly reduces sim pilot work load during exercise conduct.
DIS VOICE COMMUNICATIONS
The PLEXSYS alternative to other DIS Voice hardware configurations, which has been used within USAF DMO and most recently used in NATO Exercise First WAVE, will also be demonstrated.
Products briefing at DSEI:
AIRBORNE WARNING and CONTROL SYSTEM (AWACS) Mission Simulators
E-3 Mission Crew Console emulation which provides realistic training for full crews, small teams, and individuals. It has been a component of the US Air Force's Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Mission Training Centers (MTCs) since 1999.
AIRSPACE CONTROL and OPERATIONS TRAINER (ASCOT)
An HLA and DIS compliant battlespace generator for small and large scale exercises in a PC-based package.
SCENARIO CREATION TOOL (SCT)
Create or merge scenarios with air, maritime and ground entities for all types of training venues. Pre-scripted capabilities include Data-Link, Jamming, ECM affects, and Emissions generation.
ATOXGEN (ATO Exercise Generator)
Create large scale exercises from Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) generated Air Tasking Orders (ATO) and Airspace Control Orders (ACO). Conversion is quick, and flight paths realistic, to include package rendezvous and strangling IFF/SIF across the FEBA.
