The ASCOT is the heart of our exercise generation capability. With the ASCOT, we can interface with any other DIS or HLA compliant system on a network. Using our own protocol which implements data by exception, we can also exchange data between our own ASCOTs with data rates as low as 14.4 Kbps utilizing regular dial-up phone lines. This allows us to conduct large scale joint exercises in any battlespace theater, while deploying in-garrison or in the field to each participating military unit anywhere in the world.
During each exercise, we interface with numerous types of tactical equipment, providing a radar and data-link picture for the C2 operator.
